Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026
The Short Version
- Your household information belongs to you. We use it only to run VidaHQ for you.
- We never sell your information, and we don’t show ads.
- Each household’s records are private to its account. Other members can’t see them.
- You can export everything or ask us to delete your account at any time.
- VidaHQ is a place to keep track of your household. It doesn’t store your passwords for other websites, and it never moves money or pays bills for you.
1. Who We Are
VidaHQ (“VidaHQ,” “we,” “us”) is an online household organizer operated by VidaHQ LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the VidaHQ app at app.myvidahq.com and our website at myvidahq.com (together, the “Service”), and how we handle it.
2. Information We Collect

Information collected automatically
Like most online services, the companies that host VidaHQ record basic technical information when you use it, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the time of each request. This is used to keep the Service running, secure, and reliable. We don’t use advertising trackers.
3. How We Use It
- To provide the Service: saving and showing your records, building grocery lists, generating reminders, and creating your household calendar.
- To manage your account and membership, including sign-in, password resets, and billing.
- To answer support requests and send important account messages.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To improve VidaHQ using general, non-identifying patterns of how features are used.
We don’t sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use your household records to target ads.
4. Who We Share It With
We share information only with service providers that help us run VidaHQ. They’re allowed to use it only to provide their services to us:
| Provider | What They Do |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Securely stores your account, household records, and uploaded files, and handles sign-in and account emails. Data is stored in the United States. |
| Netlify | Hosts the VidaHQ app and website. |
| Stripe | Processes membership payments. Stripe’s use of your payment information is governed by its own privacy policy. |
| Font and code libraries (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, cdnjs) | Deliver typefaces and software components the app needs. These services may receive your IP address when your browser loads them. |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale. If a business transfer happens, this policy will continue to protect your information.
5. Your Household Calendar Link
If you add VidaHQ to Apple, Google, or Outlook Calendar, VidaHQ creates a private link for your household. Your calendar app uses that link to show your appointments, bills, renewals, care reminders, and birthdays. Anyone who has the link can view those items, so share it only with your household. You can reset the link at any time from the Calendar page, and the old link stops working right away. Once calendar items are copied into another company’s calendar, that company’s privacy policy also applies to them.
6. Children and Family Members
VidaHQ is meant for adults age 18 and older. It isn’t directed to children, and children shouldn’t create accounts. Parents and guardians may add information about their children and other family members to help run their household. If you add information about another person, please make sure you have the right to share it. We use it only to provide the Service to you. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.
7. Sensitive Information
Some information you may choose to store, like medications, allergies, account numbers, or important documents, is sensitive. We protect it with the safeguards described below, and only you can see it. Please don’t store passwords, full Social Security numbers, or full credit card numbers in VidaHQ. Store a note about where you keep them instead, like “Apple Passwords.” VidaHQ isn’t a medical record system and isn’t designed to meet HIPAA requirements.
8. How We Protect It
- All information travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Database rules make sure each account can read and change only its own household records and files.
- Uploaded files are kept in private storage that only your account can open.
- Access by our team is limited to what’s needed to run and support the Service.
No online service can be perfectly secure. If we learn of a security breach affecting your information, we’ll notify you as required by law.
9. How Long We Keep It
We keep your information while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we permanently delete your account and household records within 30 days, except for information we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons, such as payment records. Copies in routine backups are overwritten on a regular schedule.
10. Your Choices and Rights
- See and export: download all of your records any time from Settings → Your Data → Export.
- Correct: edit any record directly in VidaHQ.
- Delete: remove individual records any time, or request account deletion from Settings → Your Data → Delete Account.
- Calendar link: reset or stop using it from the Calendar page.
Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, delete, or move your personal information, and to not be treated differently for using those rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
11. Cookies and Local Storage
VidaHQ uses your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and keep a copy of your household data on your device so the app loads quickly. If you use “Preview on This Device,” your information stays only in that browser and isn’t sent to our servers. We don’t use advertising cookies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as VidaHQ grows. If we make important changes, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
